Internship Position opening with Troon Golf at Tamarack Golf Course
Tamarack Golf Course is a 36-hole daily fee facility located in East Brunswick, NJ. Tamarack is in the finishing stages of a complete (East and West Courses) golf course renovation project which started in November 2021. The East Course renovation has been completed which included a significant amount of tree clearing, a new irrigation system (HDPE, Rain Bird), drainage work, a complete bunker renovation, new green surfaces, and new green surrounds. The East Course reopened in late October 2022. In 2024, the West course went through the completion and grow in stages of its renovation work and is expected to open for play in late spring or early summer this year (2025). The West course now has a new irrigation system installed, drainage added, new USGA spec greens, a complete bunker renovation, new green surrounds and complete fairway renovations which includes regrassing to creeping bentgrass. The clubhouse, driving range and entrance road are to be addressed as the 3rd phase of the renovations, which will eventually top 30 million dollars at completion. This is a great opportunity to experience a recent 36-hole golf course renovation project, provide the finishing touches of the West Course renovations, in preparations for the course opening, and help develop your skills on a path to becoming a golf course superintendent.
