Job Description: The Turnaround Scheduler is responsible for building the schedule and coordinating its implementation during execution. Interaction with operations, maintenance, capital, and contractor groups is a key component of the job requirements. Job Responsibilities: + Build integrated schedules and coordinate execution for Kingsport turnarounds as assigned. + Consider and report all potential job hazards that can impact work execution including location risks and conflicts with other scheduled work. + Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and contractors to build an integrated turnaround schedule and lead reviews on expected timeline. + Identify critical path and provide optimization options. + Understand resource capacity and distribution. + Lead interactive planning sessions and turnaround scheduling meetings to coordinate effective turnaround execution. + Communicate with execution groups and report job progress. + Recognize and elevate critical issues in a timely manner. + Develop and communicate schedule progress metrics and reports. + Promote and implement use of Eastman Turnaround Playbook and Best Practices. + Continually improve knowledge and skill with scheduling tools and methods. Qualifications: + Candidate must demonstrate a commitment to safety and be dedicated to safe work execution. + Candidate should have experience with scheduling software (Primavera P6 and/or Viziya preferred). + Candidate should have turnaround experience in any direct or support role. + Candidate should have a good understanding of scheduling best practices. + Candidate must have outstanding communication and coordination skills. + Candidate must display the work ethic and constructive positivity of a team leader. Education / Experience Requirements: Required: + HS Diploma or GED is required. + Must be at least 18 years of age. + Must have valid driver's license. + Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Preferred: + College education in construction or engineering related field (Preferred). + Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance, operations, or construction (Preferred).
