Turn Down Attendant

Beverly Wilshire, A Four Seasons Hotel, is seeking a highly motivated and service-minded individual to join the Housekeeping Team. The Turndown Attendant is responsible for creating a comfortable evening experience in our Guest Rooms by cleaning and refreshing the room in the early evening and preparing the room for the guest to sleep. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a luxury, fast-paced environment and have excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

Clean guestrooms as assigned by management and in accordance with hotel standards.Inspect all rooms (vacant or occupied) checking standard of cleanliness, missing guest amenities and/or supplies.Has a set number of occupied rooms to clean during a shift. Removes used towels and replaces them with clean ones from the Linen Closet.  Wipes down any wet services in the bathroom. Folds any clothing left in room and places it in appropriate spot.  Removes Room Service trays, dishes and carts to service landings. Closes drapes, reduces lighting, turn music on softly and prepares bed.Restocks used amenities such as shampoo, lotions, cotton balls, stationery, and pens.Prepares unoccupied rooms for turndown for arriving guests.Is proficient in the safe handling of all relevant equipment and machinery, reports defects and accidents to management immediately.Responsible for reporting to the manager the rooms, which do not require service, or which have Privacy signs in assigned area.To carry out any other cleaning duties as specified by your manager.Works harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and hotel employees.
