Essential Duties and Responsibilities: This is not an exhaustive list of responsibilities; it is intended to provide a representative summary of the major duties and responsibilities of a Turning Utility Operator.

Load and unload material and product by use of conveyor systems and hoppers.Inspect the condition of the product through daily scale standardizations to ensure quality.Interpret and control conditions to ensure the product is consistent with customer specifications and meets all quality standards. Operate equipment such as tow motors, skid steers and x-ray machines.Conduct preventive and general maintenance on hydraulic press system, hoppers, scales, conveyors and mixers.Troubleshoot equipment and system abnormalities and perform required maintenance to fix the issues.Adhere to all standard operating procedures and ensure compliance with all safety and quality processes. Perform daily cleaning and 5’s responsibilities.

Basic Qualifications

High school diploma/GED and related manufacturing experience.Experience with conducting general maintenance on equipment or experience with hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.Experience using a computer to enter and track data. Exhibit a strong work ethic that includes a good attendance record. Ability to write routine reports and correspondences.Ability to work a flexible work schedule to include holidays, weekends, and overtime.Ability to perform physical work, with the ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds.Ability to work in high, precarious places and small or confined spaces.
