Description

ProLogistix is hiring Turret Forklift Operators for full time employment at a NEW distribution center in Ridgeville. If you are looking for a team-oriented environment where good performance and attendance are rewarded and there are opportunities for advancement this may be the job for you! This customer supports retail operations large and small, as well as e-commerce shipping directly to customers. There are secondary operations (kitting, labeling) involved prior to shipment.   

This is a high skill level position that requires the utmost in safe forklift operation. You will be operating a turret truck to load and unload cases and pallets in new warehouse racks. The turret will lock-on to the path once in the racking, but must still be operated carefully. Safety is critical!

First Shift is Monday – Friday 7:00 am – 5:30 pm

Pay Rate Starts at $19.00 per hour for skilled Turret Forklift Operators

Job Duties as a Turret Forklift Operator for ProLogistix:

Unload and load pallets into and out of warehouse racks using turret forklifts Stack and store pallets in warehouse racking using forklifts Unloading by hand, repalletizing products, and wrapping as needed for storage or export Ensure product is palletized correctly and safely according to regulatory guidelines Work in a fast-paced team environment Accurate recordkeeping and inventory documentation Follow all safety guidelines

Job Requirements for Turret Forklift Operator

Knowledge & Skills

High School diploma or equivalent Candidates must be 18 years or older Must have at least 3 months forklift experience within the past year Ability to pass Powered Equipment Certification tests for Turret forklift Must be willing to stay until the work is complete

Attributes

A safety and compliance mindset A positive attitude and willingness to work as a team Ability to lift up to 50 pounds consistently Stand/walk for 8-10 hours a day Ability to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach throughout the day Must not be fearful of heights Willing to work in a non-climate controlled warehouse  (hot during the summer, cold during the winter)
