We are looking for experienced Turret operators for a metal fabrication shop located in Johnstown, Ohio. 2nd shift opportunity primarily working 4/ 10 hour shifts Monday-Thursday 3:15pm-1:15am. Pay starting at $20/hr **Education and Experience** 1. Prior manufacturing experience on Turrets, CNC Lasers, or sheet metal CNC cutting machines. Preferably Amada. 2. Knowledge of metal manufacturing materials, fabrication processes. 3. **Primary Duty:** Set-up, operate, troubleshoot, and quality check product on an Amada Turret in a Metal Fabrication shop. The position is responsible for following all company safety policies, confirming, and maintaining all manufacturing standards, and ensuring work schedules are accomplished. **General Duties** : 4. Commit to and follow the facility Mission, Vision and Values that support the AWI Operating Principles as an individual and team. 5. Observe all safety procedures and plant regulations to prevent injury to self and others. 6. Upon training & qualification, perform miscellaneous duties as required including machine operation (turrets, brakes, presses, panel benders, tube benders, etc.), final panel assembly, infill pad creation, crating, forklift operation, inventory counting, and assisting others. 7. Work with steel, aluminum, curved and angled parts. 8. Operate machinery or stations as instructed by the Team Leader to meet scheduled demands. **Turret Duties:** 9. Set-up sheet-metal jobs on an Amada Turret, following provided fabrication drawings & Programs, within tolerances of +/ -0.016. 10. Knowledge of metal manufacturing materials, fabrication processes 11. Operate Amada Turret to complete these jobs and perform troubleshooting to keep the machine running safely. 12. Conduct quality checks per assigned frequency on parts after banding to ensure meeting the tolerances provided. 13. Reduce powder waste by learning the details on how the equipment functions. 14. Keep accurate records of production, quality checks, and updates to standards for other operators in the area. 15.
