Roles and Responsibilities + Sell all forms of NJ TRANSIT Rail Tickets. + Required to quote fares and schedules for NJ TRANSIT Trains. + Must have full knowledge of revenue rules, regulations, and procedures. + Responsible for the collection and deposit of Trainmen's remittances. + Must document and perform physical banking for all ticket window activity and set deposits. + Must monitor the operation of the ticket vending machines at designated terminals. Responsible for light maintenance and ticket/journal stock replenishment. + Required to assist passengers with operation of the Ticket Vending Machine (TVM) malfunctions and complete the required documents to accommodate their traveling arrangements. ]May be required to exchange cash vaults, coin drums and auxiliary coin vaults with armored car during scheduled service calls. + Must comply with all rules and regulations regarding dress code, courteous assistance to the traveling public, attendance, conduct, safety, and revenue handling. Work Location: + Various Education, Experience, and Qualifications: + High School Diploma or GED + Cash handling and customer service experience is preferred.
