This position supports the business unit Bosch Sensortec.
Bosch Sensortec develops and markets key technologies in consumer electronics – micro-electro-mechanical sensors (MEMS), solutions and systems for smartphone applications, tablets, video game consoles, wearables, and the Internet of things. The sensors enable devices to recognize their surroundings and to transmit the data collected. MEMS are therefore part of the foundation for a networked world. Bosch Sensortec is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Bosch Group.

Be part of an international procurement team to purchase Foundry and Test services for consumer products.

- Capacity Monitoring: Technical understanding about the products and production processes. Negotiate capacity agreements and ensure its implementation. Perform bottleneck management to ensure the on-time supply. Work with suppliers cost reduction initiatives by driving continuous improvement initiatives.

- Supplier Management as Purchasing Manager for dedicated foundry suppliers in the mass production phase. Responsible for all commercial topics and local support in supplier relationship Mgmt. (Local supplier risk assessment/management, support in escalations, drive and support price and contract negotiations)

- Initial Supplier Scouting / Sourcing in Asia / Onboarding of new suppliers

- Supply Chain Management (Design/Planning/Troubleshooting of/in supply chain, i.e. quality or assurance of supply risk)

- Project Management (Support on development and communication among engineering, purchasing and local suppliers, monitoring project milestones and design change management)

- Supply Market Intelligence (To collect supply market information from local sources to support the team at the headquarter)

- Bachelor degree in Business or Engineering, MBA is preferred
- Minimum 4 years of experience in purchasing electronic components, experience in CE and semiconductor market is a plus
- Excellent in negotiation skills
- Analytical and structural approach
- Project management skills and/or experience in Supply Chain Management is a plus
- Fluent in English and Mandarin (both verbal and written). Any other Asian or German language is a plus
- Experience working in a multi-national environment, dealing with external & internal business partners.
- Able to work independently and take initiative to perform investigation and find out the root cause of each problem
- Ability to communicate professionally and dealing with multiple subjects
