**TX Geotechnical Project Manager** **Job Details** **Job Location** Dallas - Dallas, TX **Position Type** Full Time **Description** Alpha Testing is looking for a **Project Manager** to join our team. This position entails the delivery of comprehensive geology/geotechnical services through the coordination and execution of field explorations and laboratory testing, and the analysis/evaluation of those findings, the preparation of geotechnical reports and communication with Alpha clients. **ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES** + Evaluate and interpret subsurface field and sampling data including soil and groundwater to develop conclusions concerning the geologic and geotechnical site conditions. + Coordinate and participate in field activities, including logging of borings, test pits, trenches and cores, geologic mapping, review of aerial photographs, evaluation of geologic hazards. + Plan and conduct geotechnical exploration effectively. + Perform geotechnical field investigations for construction projects. + Assist project professionals with project execution, proposal and report preparation. + Execute smaller projects to gain experience in project management. + Coordinate required testing/sampling with drill crews and assist with field activities as necessary + Interpret field data and assign laboratory testing + Communicate results of field and laboratory testing, and geotechnical recommendations, to clients + Prepare geotechnical reports + Assist with field activities during construction **EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE** + Bachelor's degree (B.S.)
