As a CCD you will be responsible for U-Box containers and ensuring that customers are provided with friendly and courteous service. Looking for Part-Time Class 1 Drivers, experience with flatbed trailers and forklift preferred but not required training is provided. We are open 7 days a week for deliveries, scheduling flexibility available.

U-Box Customer Care Driver Responsibilities:

Operate a flatbed truckOperate an 8000lb pound propane forklift or a truck-mounted forkliftLoad and unload storage containers for deliveryTransport storage containers to and from specified destinations, e.g. customers’ homes and local businessesSome warehouse work maybe required for prepping deliveries.

Minimum Requirements:

Clean motor vehicle driving recordHigh School Diploma or equivalentCanada-Valid Class1, a clean driving record and be able to pass a criminal background investigation

Work Environment:

The work involves moderate risks or discomforts which require special safety precautions, e.g. working around moving parts, machines, fumes, or irritant chemicals. May be required to use protective clothing, or gear such as masks, goggles, gloves, or shields.

Physical Demands:
The work requires some physical exertion such as long periods both indoors and outdoors of remaining stationary, traversing spaces, repositioning to reach and use tools, and moving a minimum of 50 lbs. assisted or unassisted.
