Job Description

We are a leading staffing firm and our clients include some of the biggest companies in the nation. Our client has a need for a UAL Technician. This is a contract position; however it is not uncommon for assignments to transition into permanent positions with our client companies. Applicant must be eligible to work in the US for immediate opening.  For this opportunity, the successful candidate will be directly employed by Bartech Staffing as a W2 employee while providing services to our end client.
UAL Technician        
Job Responsibilities                                              
Your specific duties as a UAL Technician will include:         Performs test plans and validation of service bay diagnostic applications and ECU flash programming applications in a garage lab environment Documents issues for developers in MS TFS/Azure DevOps cases Verifies/Validates resolved issues and closes cases Adheres to garage & lab safety practices in personal and team environment Performs some electrical and/or mechanical tests on vehicles as required Some light disassembly/reassembly may be required to access components Maintains records on work performed, analyzes data collected and reports results Recommends revisions to product or component design Maintains good housekeeping, safety practices and supplies Coordinates and exchanges findings with engineering personnel outside work group

Job Requirements
As a UAL Technician you must represent our company well by being responsible, punctual and motivated to go above and beyond the call of duty. You must also be highly detail-oriented and organized with excellent analytic and problem-solving abilities.  It is also important that you display excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of MS Office (Word/Excel/Teams/SharePoint, etc.) – Beginner level Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook– Beginner level Good interpersonal skills involving ability to work effectively cross-functionally and cross-culturally Good written and oral communication skills necessary for case documentation, meetings and presentations Ability to work well with others, exhibiting teamwork skills Partners with management to analyze and solve issues Ability to multitask by handling diverse assignments concurrently Familiarity with automotive electrical and mechanical concepts - 3+ years’ experience Relevant auto industry and/or software validation experience preferred Areas of expertise include: Quality, Testing and Automotive systems High School Diploma or GED Associates Degree or equivalent training ASE certification preferred
