The UAS Maintainer will perform UAS scheduled and unscheduled field-level maintenance at multiple flight lines and/or Maintenance Training Facilities, as directed and on multiple shifts. May be assigned to supervisory, lead positions or assume additional duties such as, Team/Shift Lead, Production Control (PC) Officer, Assistant PC Officer, Quality Control Officer, Technical Inspector, or Maintenance Instructor (if qualified).
Responsibilities
Inspects, tests, troubleshoots, services, and repairs all components of the UAS IAW maintenance technical manuals and all related aviation maintenance regulations
Inspects, monitors, and repairs all maintenance support equipment, perform all UAS launch and recovery operations
Performs all set-up & tear down, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs of the launch and recovery equipment
Qualifications
Shall have honorably served in military aviation maintenance MOS or equivalent, having a minimum of 2 years’ documented aviation maintenance experience
Clean MVR required
Secret Clearance required
Physical Demands:
Must be able to lift up to 50lbs, ascend and descend stairs
Stand for an extended period of time up to at least 50 minutes
Walk at least 100 meters across uneven or unpaved surfaces
