**Job Title: UD Associate** **Job Description** Our company is a leading advanced material provider for the composite and protective markets, specializing in the manufacture of soft armor at our Charlotte site. In the weaver operator position, you will be responsible for making circuit looms, bombing the yarn, and ensuring the quality of the product from beginning to end. You will count picks and identify any defects or anomalies in the fabric as the machine will not work when there are defects, and flag down fixer apprentices in case of quality issues. You will primarily work on the air jet loom and Rapier loom, with opportunities to work in the carbon room for additional compensation and grow into other roles within the company. This position is responsible for safely and efficiently operating Uni-Directional (UD) textile machines to consistently meet quality and production targets. Continuous periods of standing and walking required. Considerable lifting and loading (with assistance of appropriate tools and machines).
