The Integrated Airborne Solutions (IAS) Division of the Airborne Systems Business Area of Leidos currently has an opening for a UH-60A/L/M Blackhawk Academic Instructor supporting the Army National Guard (ANG) Aviation Training Services and Operational Support (ATSOS) program in Marana, AZ. Leidos is the prime contractor providing flight training, simulation training, classroom instruction and schoolhouse support activities including the One Army School System (OASS) integration, and Aviation Life Support Equipment (ALSE) maintenance for platforms and simulation devices in use or anticipated to be in use by the Army National Guard.

Leidos is hiring an academic course instruction for MOS/ASI producing enlisted courses, professional military education courses for enlisted service members, and academic courses for UH-60 aircraft qualification, qualification transition, instructor pilot qualification, and maintenance test pilot qualification courses. All contractor Instructor will adhere with the unit instructor certification program IAW TRADOC series 350 regulations. This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience supporting the ATSOS program.
THE CHALLENGE (primary responsibilities)
Conduct daily academic instruction on regulations and publications, aircraft systems and aircraft maintenance IAW approved Training Support Packages.
Maintain training records for formal course students.
Conduct practical exercises, training support and after action reviews.
Provide for review input to the development and update of current and new POI Courseware, Course Management Plans (CMP), Student Evaluation Plans (SEP), Lesson Plans (LP), Flight Training guides (FTG), and Exceptions to Policy (ETP).
Coordinate daily tasks and requirements (examples are work schedules, leaves, etc.) of contract employees to meet AATS missioned training requirements and schoolhouse accreditation as directed by AATS chains of command.
Responsible for compliance with appropriate Army, National Guard and AATS policies, procedures and regulations.
Report Instructor Flight and Operation data in the Task Order Monthly Report.
WHAT SETS YOU APART (basic qualifications)
High School Diploma with 6 years’ of applicable experience or Bachelors’ Degree with 2 years’ of experience.
Prior academic instructor at the U.S. Army Aviation Center of Excellence (USAACE), U.S. Army Aviation Logistics School (USAALS), Army National Guard Aviation Training Site (AATS), or equivalent.
Instructor Training Course (ITC) or ABIC qualified; or successfully graduate from a AATS provided ABIC course within 3 months of contractor employee start date.
Must meet instructor qualification requirements as defined by the Aviation proponent and IAW TR 350-10, TR 350-70.
Recipient of aviation maintenance MOS qualification through an approved USAALS/AATS or other service equivalent course.
Must be able to obtain and maintain DoD Secret Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Products.

Pay Range:Pay Range $50,700.00 - $91,650.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
