Summary:
The current project is in QA for the initial pilot / beta release and is targeted to go live in beta at two sites at the end of June. There are multiple additional phases planned with additional functionality and potential UI redesign (based on feedback once live at sites) through the end of the year. There will then be a roll out in production mode on a broader scale next year.
Description:
· Employee will primarily be responsible for creating and maintaining the user interface for an internal web-based application.
· Support functional and user acceptance testing.
· Participate in full system lifecycle, including solution design, web development, implementation, and product support.
· The application will be released for beta use at a select number of user-sites initially, with additional planned releases scheduled through the second half of 2014 before moving to full production mode in 2015.
· Successful candidates for the position will be self-starters with good communication skills, able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Experience:
· 4+ years of front end web UI development experience (JavaScript, CSS/CSS3, HTML/HTML5, AJAX, jQuery, JSON).
· Strong expertise in HTML5, JavaScript, CSS, cross-browser and platform compatibility.
· Hands-on experience developing with the Angular.JS framework.
· Experience integrating with a back-end Java application.
Requirements:
· Demonstrable web user interface development skills required (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript).
· Demonstrable experience with Angular.JS.
· Demonstrable experience with object-oriented programming in JavaScript.
· Experience consuming third party API’s and services required.
· Experience developing mobile web user interfaces is required.
· Experience developing responsive design user interfaces is a strong plus.
· Experience developing native mobile app UIs is a strong plus.
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies is desired.
