UI Developer (React)

Cognizant’s Digital Engineering practice is seeking a highly qualified UI Developer (React) with 5+ years’ experience developing and building high-performing, scalable, enterprise applications. You will be part of a digital software team that works on high-demand applications. Our engineers have a passion for high-quality, reliable, and maintainable code. You will work side by side with product managers, designers, and clients, making decisions together to quickly deliver valuable working software to clients and their users. Location: Orlando, FL (can be remote)

Roles/Responsibilities:

· Developing user interfaces: Create responsive web-based user interfaces and experiences using the React library

· Building reusable components: Create reusable components and front-end libraries for future use

· Optimizing performance: Optimize components for maximum performance and across different browsers and devices

· Integrating designs: Integrate designs and wireframes into the application code

· Monitoring user interactions: Monitor user interactions and convert them into insights

· Collaborating with teams: Work with the engineering team, product team, and graphic designers

· Understanding requirements: Understand requirements for assigned tasks

· Troubleshooting: Have strong problem-solving and analytical skills to face complex challenges

Required Qualifications:

· A bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field

· Hands on experience is designing and developing UI components using React JS

· Understanding of React & Redux framework

· Strong JavaScript knowledge

· Understand design systems

· Must have worked in Travel /Hotel booking B2C web applications

· Must understand Travel /resort booking domain

· Ability to work in Agile /Scrum projects

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $ 55,578- $92,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
