**About the Role** At Uber, our mission is to help people go anywhere and get anything. A lot of this functionality is powered by search, and data platforms. This UI team is developing user interfaces for these search and data platforms, which are being used by developers, analysts to make important product decisions. **What the Candidate Will Need / Bonus Points** \-\-\-\- What the Candidate Will Do ---- As part of the UI team, you will design and develop user interfaces, UI components and tools for search and data platforms which will be used by developers across the board. \-\-\-\- Basic Qualifications ---- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or related field OR 1-year full-time Software Engineering work experience, WHICH INCLUDES 2-year total technical software engineering experience in one or more of the following areas: 1. Programming languages (e.g. JavaScript, CSS) _Note the 2-year total of specialized software engineering experience may have been gained through education and full-time work experience, additional training, coursework, research, or similar (OR some combination of these). The year of specialized experience is not necessarily in addition to the years of Education & full-time work experience indicated._ \-\-\-\- Preferred Qualifications ---- Preferred: 1.
