About the Job We currently have an exciting opportunity for an UI Engineer Intern to join our Digital engineering team. This internship is designed to help you build the knowledge and skills for early career success. The Digital Engineer Intern will have the exciting opportunity to participate in web applications, and system analysis. What You’ll Do | Key Accountabilities · Develop technical specifications gathering and writing as needed to maintain system. · Analyze, design, coordinate and supervise the development of software systems. · Analyze system specifications and translate system requirements to task specifications. · Develop and support Single page applications for ecommerce web applications. · Participate in resolution of production issues and lead efforts toward solutions · Write effective unit tests and integration tests to ensure high quality software delivery, sprint after sprint. · Incorporate ADA compliance and site optimization best practices as needed. · Proactively identify process inefficiencies and evolve accordingly. · Support ongoing content updates and bug fixes as needed. · Work with your QA resources to ensure that the software you deliver is of the highest quality. · Participate in code reviews and provide mentorship to other developers. What You’ll Bring | Skills & Experience · Junior or Senior candidate currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, or related field · Interest in expanding knowledge with JavaScript and customer facing web applications development · Excellent collaboration and communication skills · Comfortable working in a hybrid remote working arrangement · Extremely organized and self-motivated · Detail oriented and strong work ethic · Thrive in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment · Problem solve and provide solutions to meet creative objectives · Dependable attendance and punctuality · Strong relationship building skills with the ability to work with all levels · Basic computer skills including Word, Excel, Outlook Please note that you do not need to qualify for all requirements to be considered. Work Environment, Physical & Mental Demands · Ability to sit and work at a computer keyboard for extended periods of time Ability to stoop, kneel, bend at the waist, and reach daily Able to lift and move up to 25 pounds occasionally Must utilize visual acuity, speech and hearing, hand and eye coordination and manual dexterity necessary to operate a computer and office equipment Hours regularly 40 hours per week, as work dictates, in a hybrid work arrangement from our Dublin, California office.
