UI Field Tax Operations Supervisor (Auditor/Examiner Spv.)

Pay Grade - L

 

The Georgia Department of Labor is accepting applications to fill the UI Field Tax Operations Supervisor positions in the District 6 Field Tax Office - Macon and District 3 Field Tax Office -Atlanta

The work location options are Warner Robins, Dublin, Griffin, Carrollton and Atlanta Field Tax Offices.

 

The Agency's Administrative Policy will be used to determine the final salary to be offered. 

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTION & RESPONSIBILITIES

Supervises field tax staff to ensure compliance with federal and state laws, rules and regulations.

Monitors staff to ensure assignment completion goals are met.

Provides training to ensure staff are knowledgeable of provisions of the Georgia Employment Security laws, section rules, regulations, policies and procedures.

Conducts staff performance appraisals and provides feedback and coaching, as needed.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATION 

Two years experience at the lower level UI Field Tax Agent II (FIP031) and two years of experience meeting and exceeding annual audit completion requirements Two years meeting and/or exceeding expectations in all job responsibilities and common core areas Eight years of extensive experience in auditing and/or accounting

Bachelor's degree in business administration or a closely related field from an accredited college or university and two (2) years of professional job-related experience, which includes one (1) year in a lead worker, team leader, or supervisory role; or Six (6) years of professional job-related experience which includes one (1) year in a lead worker, team lead, or supervisory role; or One (1) year of experience at the lower level Auditor/Examiner 3 (FIP032) or equivalent position.
