UI Software Developer 119271 RCIS (a division of Zurich North America) is currently hiring a UI Software Developer and this person will work in a hybrid schedule in our Anoka, MN RCIS Headquarters. The ideal candidate will report to the Chief Operations and Technology Officer for RCIS. Responsibilities: + Developing web-based UIs incorporating UX features based on business needs/demand. + Working with software development team to design UI/UX framework for various application features and consumption patterns. + Building and maintaining a library of UI/UX components that can be reused across various applications. + Incorporating logging and tracking of application usage and user interactions to support monitoring of applications. + Collaborating with fellow Agile scrum team members and peers in design/solutioning and roadmap sessions. + Collaborating with fellow software engineers to discuss and develop best practices. Basic Qualifications: + Bachelor’s degree and No prior experience required in the Programming or Systems Analysis area OR + High School Diploma or Equivalent and 2 or more years of experience in the Programming or Systems Analysis area Preferred Qualifications: + UI software development background. + Experience developing web applications. + Experience developing mobile applications. + Experience with software languages such as Java, .Net, Angular, Javascript, CSS, HTML, and other web-based application technologies. + Background developing applications in an agile development environment. + Solid verbal and written communication skills. + Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
