The UI/UX Developer is responsible for both designing and implementing intuitive, user-centric experiences for Censis Technologies' software applications. In addition to collaborating on design, this role will focus on coding and delivering high-quality, responsive, and scalable user interfaces. The UI/UX Developer will work closely with software developers, product managers, and end users to ensure seamless integration between front-end and back-end systems. Experience with Generative AI tools will be an advantage in enhancing design workflows and streamlining development processes.

Specific Responsibilities

Front-End Development:

Build and implement responsive, accessible, and high-performance user interfaces using front-end technologies like Angular, React, Vue.js, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3. Develop reusable UI components and contribute to maintaining a scalable design system. Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility.

Optimization & Performance:

Optimize front-end code for performance and scalability, including minimizing load times, improving responsiveness, and enhancing the overall user experience. Conduct performance tests and debugging.

Collaboration with Back-End Teams:

Collaborate with back-end developers to integrate APIs and ensure smooth data flow between the server and the client-side UI. Work closely with product managers to understand project goals and user requirements.

Generative AI Tools:

Leverage Generative AI tools to enhance design workflows, improve design iteration speed, and automate certain development tasks. Utilize AI-driven insights to inform UI/UX decisions and improve product design based on user data.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Collaborate with designers to translate wireframes, prototypes, and mockups into functional user interfaces. Communicate with quality assurance teams to ensure that the UI is thoroughly tested and bug-free.

Version Control & Deployment:

Use version control tools such as Bitbucket to manage and maintain code. Assist in front-end deployments and ensure updates are rolled out smoothly across environments.

Testing & Debugging:

Conduct front-end unit testing using frameworks like Jasmine or Vite. Identify and resolve front-end bugs in collaboration with QA engineers.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field. 5+ years of experience in front-end development, with a strong portfolio demonstrating responsive web development. Proficiency in front-end programming languages and frameworks like Angular, React, JavaScript, Vue.js, HTML5, and CSS3. Familiarity with object-oriented programming concepts. Experience with API integration and working in a full-stack development environment. Strong knowledge of cross-browser and cross-device compatibility issues and solutions. Experience working with Bitbucket for version control. Ability to write clean, modular, and well-documented code. Experience with front-end testing frameworks such as Jasmine and Vite.  Experience with Generative AI tools to enhance design and development workflows. Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with both design and development teams. Experience working in agile development environments.

Education
