Job Description
This position has a strong focus on designing visual graphics and understanding user workflows to help craft the user experience for an implantable medical device platform with external programming and remote monitoring user interfaces. The UI/UX Designer will work closely with Marketing and R&D to conceptualize new and innovative UIs, prototype new concepts, and design intuitive product experiences. This role requires working on various products being developed in parallel, each requiring its own unique solution while ensuring a consistent user experience throughout the product portfolio. Proficiency in the entire UX process, including discovery, research, ideation, prototyping, and validation, is essential.
ResponsibilitiesDesign visual graphics and understand user workflows to enhance the user experience for an implantable medical device platform.Collaborate with Marketing and R&D teams to conceptualize and prototype new and innovative UIs.Design intuitive product experiences across various products being developed in parallel.Ensure a consistent user experience throughout the product portfolio.Conduct user testing, write protocols, and analyze data to complete summary reports from planned formative/summative studies.Lead UI/UX design activities on new R&D programs.Essential SkillsProficiency in UI/UX design, mobile design, industrial design, process flow, and documentation.Bachelor's degree in a related field.Minimum of 9 years of experience in UI/UX design.Experience as a UI/UX researcher or analyst.Knowledge of current UX best practices and design processes.Familiarity with mobile and web interface design guidelines such as Android Material Design and iOS Human Interface Guidelines.Fluency in UI design, graphics, wireframing, and prototyping tools such as Adobe CC, Axure, Figma, Invision, Omnigraffle, Framer, Balsamiq, etc.Working knowledge of HTML and CSS, with the ability to translate designs to developers.Strong communication skills and ability to work closely with teams to meet critical milestones under pressure.Additional Skills & QualificationsHighly motivated self-starter with the ability to achieve results with minimal direction.Proactive and creative in achieving project goals.Demonstrable UI/UX portfolio of project experience and work products.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $90.00/hr.
