This is an exciting opportunity to further evolve our Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) strategy across Marsh McLennan UK. We have award winning programs and initiatives already in place and this role is designed to further best practice as well as embed inclusion into everything we do. We have support from our leaders and a dedicated DEI Team in our Talent and Inclusion Centre of expertise to set the role up for success. The role will act as a subject matter expert as well as have the opportunity to own and deliver programs which help us achieve our aim of a diverse and inclusive workplace culture across the UK.

The opportunity to deliver a substantial and exciting DEI agenda/strategy across Marsh McLennan UK, aligned to with  global initiatives. The focus is on delivering on the DEI Plans we have in placeand collaborating effectively with a several stakeholders across the enterprise as well as leveraging our external partnerships, including in collaboration with our Social Impact function.The Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Business Partner will play a critical role in connecting ongoing efforts and new initiatives designed to help us achieve our People Strategy aim of a diverse and inclusive workplace .Reporting to the Regional People Function Leader, you will collaborate across Operating Companies and will work closely with our  People Partners & HR Managerswith a dotted line to our Global DEI Leader in the  Talent and Inclusion Centre of Expertise.You will work with our vibrant and engaging Colleague Resource Groups and Colleague Networks with nine currently in total across several dimensions of diversity including our newest group on Parents and Carers Together (PACT).You will support the delivery of our Regional DEI Steering Group, chaired by our Regional CEO.Additionally, you will conduct program and project work, measure the effectiveness and impact of DEI projects, and maintain in-depth knowledge of the best practice in DEI . Coordinate regulatory auditing procedures and lead on accreditation and benchmarking efforts including internal  employee survey and consultations. 

What you need to have: 

Proven experience in diversity, equity and inclusion, ideally within in a corporate setting. Ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with a diversity of stakeholders at all levels. Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data. Familiarity with DEI regulatory requirement, best practices andemerging trends. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data analysis tools.
