We are seeking a talented UK Program Manager to join our team at Marsh. This role will be based in London. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

The UK Program Lead will play a critical role in the implementation and execution of Marsh’s largest and most impactful transformation to date, serving within Operations & Technology as part of the Placement & Policy Management (PPM) program.
We will count on you to:
Manages projects end-to-end, to deliver business outcomes. Works with the Operations Leaders and business stakeholders to manage business and technology scope of projects – will focus on business processes, supporting technology capabilities, recommending and implementing changes to ensure solutions are aligned to business strategiesActs as SME for engagements in the areas of project management, solution development, the relevant insurance domain, and quality assurance.Works closely with the project stakeholders and is able to think strategically about how technology applications fit within the overall business needs and priorities.Coordinates and plans with interdependent teams across Business, Operations, Technology, and project management team.Works with other project managers to improve the capabilities while managing adherence to procedures and standards.Ensures projects follow the Initiation, Execution, and Transition & Value Capture phases in accordance with Marsh’s Project Delivery LifePrepares and tracks budgets, project plans, and staffing plans.Ensure early detection of project issues and risks with early identification of mitigation strategies and stakeholder communication and engagement.Maintains project program and financials using Marsh’s standard system for project trackingBuilds, drives, and manages relationships with our senior internal business leaders and ensure their continued alignment, engagement, and achievement of business outcomesProvides project and program status to executive management providing recommendations as needed.Engage with key stakeholders including vendors where key delivery areas are outsourced.What you need to have:
PMP, Prince2, AgilePM preferred or managing agile technical deliveryConfident stakeholder engagement: Regularly interfaces with internal senior management and client executive level personnel, as well as identifies global subject matter experts on the project at hand.Manages highly complex, broad, and/or multi-year projects end-to-end to deliver business outcomes, ensuring that the project is completed on time, within budget, and to a high level of client satisfaction.Develops detailed, robust, high-quality project plans including resources, scope, schedule, cost, assumptions, dependencies, etc. for large scale, complex projects.Significantly recognizes the impact of even the slightest scope changes and how that may affect tasks and assignments in the future and adjusts project plans and communicates accordingly.Acts as the first responder to risk, exposures, glitches etc. to projects and acts quickly either directly or by notifying supervisors or potential pitfalls and recommends solutions.Negotiates resource requirements with responsible management when faced with conflicts in priorities.Assists in the exploration of intricate solutions to highly complex business requirements for project.Serves as the subject matter expert in the project functionality being provided, the business domain being served, and the project planning tools used.Delegates work to and guides professional and support staff, ensuring adherence to departmental standards and procedures.Reviews, mentors, and coaches lower level professional and support staff.Proficiency in project management tools and software; Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, PowerBI, PlanView, ProjectPlace, ADOWhat makes you stand out:
