SUMMARY:
The Service Technician will be responsible forassembly of control panels with a focus on efficiency, workmanship, and attention to detail. You will follow bill of materials and schematics to ensure precise construction, arrange panel and enclosure-mounted components using common hand tools such as screwdrivers and wire cutters.\
SHIFT 1stShift (7:00AM to 3:30PM)
JOB DUTIES:
Label, wire, and populate control panel terminal boards from basic wiring diagrams.Check wiring for proper coding and termination; check for shorts, grounds, and continuity.SolderInstall components and subassemblies.Layout, drill and tap back panels.Prepare wire labels and chicklets.Performs other duties as assigned.EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or GEDBench assembly experience.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES
Strong communication skills required.Ability to operate shop equipment safely.Ability to work independently or in a team environment with minimal supervision.Electrical and basic pneumatics knowledge.Basic knowledge of UL electrical standardsKnowledge of UL panel construction.Ability to use measuring devices (tape measure, calipers, etc.)Knowledge of Industrial control panel buildingPAY: Starting at $23
Please keep in mind that this range is the base pay only and does not consider other components that make up the total rewards package for the position. If you are hired at Motion, your overall compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience which may result in total compensation outside of this range.
