Fast-paced, high-volume clinic is looking for top skilled Ultrasonographer with Women's Care experience.

 

Work location:  Texas Health Womens Care #19308 1901 North State Hwy 360 Grand Prairie TX 75050

Work hours:  Full-time, 5 days per week, Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm, 40 hours weekly (Potential Part-time)

Here’s What You Need

Education

Associate's Degree Ultrasound Technology Graduate of accredited Ultrasound Technology program (Required) or

·       Completion of the requirements to be certified by RDMS (Required))

 

​​​​​​Experience

2 years of relevant work experience in Women’s Care (Required) 3 years experience in Women's Care (Highly Preferred)

 

Certifications

ARDMS - American Registry for Diagnostic and Medical Sonographers (Required)

 

​​​ Skills

Familiar with standard concepts, practices and procedures within field. Possesses a strong work ethic and a high level of professionalism. Specific to OB/GYN: Must have experience doing gynecological and obstetrical sonograms to include the following: Normal and abnormal pelvic anatomy Fetal anatomy and biophysical profile Fetal anomalies, including ectopic pregnancies Appropriate measurement techniques in transabdominal and endovaginal scanning Ability to identify what is expected to be seen in all three trimesters of pregnancy Must be comfortable verbally explaining all techniques and views to physician and patient

 

 

What You Will Do

Under general supervision, performs diagnostic sonographic examinations utilizing ultrasonic equipment to locate, evaluate and record critical functional, pathological and anatomical data for women, both gynecological and obstetrical.

 

Performs diagnostic sonographic examinations utilizing ultrasonic equipment to locate, evaluate and record critical functional, pathological and anatomical data. Prepares room for examination, greets patients and educates patients on procedural information as needed. May schedule and coordinate tests. Processes and manipulates images, analyzes image quality and troubleshoots as needed. Properly records test results. Operates, cares for, and maintains equipment. Prepares and maintains operational logs and documents malfunction as needed. Maintains equipment and room to sanitary standards. Stocks and orders supplies as needed. Performs other duties as assigned.
