Position Overview:
Performs ultrasounds procedures including limited and complete ultrasounds, ultrasound component of the biophysical profile, doppler flow studies, and fetal echocardiography.Completes temporary ultrasound reports in ultrasound record keeping computer system and patient charting.Assumes responsibility for rotating twenty-four hour on-call for weekends and holidays plus on call for week days after regular working hours.Conducts multidisciplinary case review on each patient with nurses, genetic counselors, and perinatologists.Assists and educates students, new perinatal ultrasonographers and other staff members that need assistance.Ensures rooms are stocked with supplies and has required supplies readily available for procedures.Acceptable certification or graduation from an accredited school of ultrasonography.Demonstrates familiarity with AIUM standard OB exam and ultrasound equipment.BLSIND123.
