Job Description SummaryThe Ultrasonographer is responsible for the operation of diagnostic ultrasound equipment for the performance of all ultrasound procedures at a technical level not requiring direct supervision.
Job DescriptionQUALIFICATIONS:

Graduate of an Ultrasound accredited program accepted by the ARDMS Registered by the ARDMS within two years of graduating Ultrasound program. Must be willing to be “on call"

LANGUAGE/ COMMUNICATION SKILLS:

Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. Ability to communicate effectively in an emergency situation.

SKILLS:

Annual completion of competency requirements Basic typing and computer skills. Must be able to work in a stand alone position as well as call within six months of hire date.
