General Overview As a Sonographer, you are responsible for getting clear imaging results, which requires proper use of the equipment and keeping patients calm and informed throughout the ultrasound procedure. If a patient has any questions or concerns about the procedure, you can provide answers and assistance. You will be required to perform ultrasound exams at various nursing homes, assisted living, or other healthcare centers. Responsibility includes scheduling exams to be completed in a timely manner, and ensuring patients are prepped as needed. This is an ideal job for a full-time tech looking for extra income.
