Job SummaryUnder the direct and indirect supervision of the Physician, provides fetal and maternal imaging. Facilitates continuity of quality care by interfacing with physician and nursing staff. Ensures the effective and efficient delivery of quality diagnostic imaging and reporting for the patients’ medical record and treatment plan. Maintains appropriate quality control records and participates in routine equipment testing. Assists physicians in amniocentesis, chorionic villus sampling, and other ultrasound guided
procedures and performs ultrasound imaging for high risk indications.
Minimum Education: Completion of RDMS program
Minimum Years of Experience: 5 years performing OB/GYN ultrasound scans
Substitutable Education & Experience: Fetal Nuchal Translucency (NT) certification and 3 years experience performing OB/GYN ultrasound scans.
Required Certifications/Licensure: RDMS certification, BLS Certification or certification within 3 months of employment. Fetal Nuchal Translucency certification or successful completion of the certification within one year of hire.
