The PRN Technologist is required to assist with coverage of fellow staff members with vacation, illness, holiday coverage, etc.** **Requirements:** + Graduated from an accredited program or college/university, required. + ARRT Vascular Sonography Certification, required. + ARDMS Certification, preferred. + Current BLS (Basic Life Support) + Minimum (one) 1 year experience, required for PRN positions. **Responsibilities:** + Performs ultrasound examinations for subsequent evaluation and treatment by attending Physician. + Performs a variety of technical procedures requiring independent judgment, ingenuity and initiative in applying ultrasound techniques for radiologic diagnosis + Performs vascular procedures requiring independent judgment, ingenuity and initiative in applying ultrasound techniques for imaging diagnosis. + Ensures that all procedures have been appropriately ordered with satisfactory patient identification obtained prior to conducting procedure. **About Crestwood Medical Center** Crestwood Medical Center is a Tier 1 Facility from Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Alabama.
