Responsibilities
The Ultrasound Technician - Per Diem, under the general supervision of the Director of Medical Imaging, is responsible for producing high-quality diagnostic ultrasound images. This role involves monitoring equipment operations and promptly reporting unresolved issues to the Director of Medical Imaging to ensure optimal functionality.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures in accordance with established protocols to produce accurate and high-quality imaging results.Monitor and maintain imaging equipment, reporting unresolved technical issues to the Director of Medical Imaging.Actively support the Mission and Core Values of Community Hospital of San Bernardino through professional conduct and service excellence.Contribute to the hospital’s strategic plan and participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and operational efficiency.This position requires a commitment to excellence, collaboration, and the fulfillment of the Community Hospital of San Bernardino’s Mission and Core Values, supporting its dedication to delivering exceptional patient care.
Qualifications
One year experience as a diagnostic medical sonographer in a hospital/clinic setting preferred.American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (A.R.D.M.S) required. BLS - Basic Life SupportRegistered Vascular Tech (RVT) preferred.
