The Ultrasound Technician performs a variety of specializedtechnical tasks utilizing high frequency ultrasound waves to assist with thedetection of medical conditions or abnormalities by producing images of theinside of a patient’s body.

Minimum Requirements:

A certification from an accredited ultrasound school  One year of experience as an ultrasound technicianpreferred. Current CPR if applicable TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable  Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)  Must meet all federal, state and local requirements  Must be at least 18 years of age
