Responsibilities
In keeping with the Dignity Health core values the Ultrasound Tech I performs diagnostic medical sonographic procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision to technical detail and performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgment with ingenuity and initiative.
Qualifications
Less than one year experience in Abdomen OB/Gyn Color Doppler and Neurosonography.BLS CertificationMust be well versed in both general and cross sectional anatomy as well as physiology. Demonstrates knowledge of (Must be familiar with) Ultrasound procedures both diagnostic and interventional. Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with patients staff and physicians. Ability to work independently and be a functional team member in a team oriented environment. Self motivated and able to achieve results through good organizational skills. ARDMS certified and CPR certification required.
