Position: Sonographer - Maternity Clinic Location: Goldsboro, NC Shift/Schedule: Mon-Fri | 8 AM - 5 PM | 40hrs/wk Contract: 13 weeks Pay: Starting at $40/hr Job Description Summary: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Sonographer to join our Maternity Clinic in Goldsboro, NC. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound procedures to support the health and well-being of our patients. This role requires a high level of technical expertise and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care. Job Duties: + Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations on patients, focusing on obstetric and gynecologic imaging. + Prepare and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring it is in proper working condition. + Explain procedures to patients and provide a comfortable and supportive environment during examinations. + Analyze and interpret ultrasound images, providing accurate and detailed reports to physicians. + Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information. + Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide comprehensive patient care. + Stay updated with the latest advancements in ultrasound technology and techniques. Requirements: + Graduation from a two-year program from a community/technical college with an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography, Diagnostic Ultrasound, or a closely related field. + Must be certified as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer through the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) and certified in OB/GYN. + Valid NC Driver’s License.
