In this role, you will:
Provide age-appropriate assessment and interventions in order to meet the needs of patients and families served Obtain, evaluate and use information from the patient requisition, medical records, referring physician and correlate with acquired images Use cognitive sonographic skills, to identify and differentiate anatomy and pathology Use independent judgement to produce diagnostic images of human anatomy utilizing diagnostic ultrasound systems for our referring providers and our interpreting physicians Extend courtesy to our patients, family members, visitors and co-workers through our “World Class Practices” Service StandardsThis position will support the East Valley Region, primarily in the Santa Clarita Imaging Center. The East Valley Region is currently comprised of UCLA Health Santa Clarita Imaging Center, UCLA Health Porter Ranch Primary & Specialty Care, UCLA Health North Hollywood Imaging Center and UCLA Health MPTF Toluca Lake Primary Care. This position participates in on-call, holiday, and weekend schedules, prepared by the manager, that supports one of the medical centers in the UCLA Health system. Additionally, participation in rotating shifts is required, as needed.

Staff Sonographer:
One to two years experience within the hospital / acute care setting Must maintain active RDMS certification in one specialty, i.e. Abdomen or OB-GYN Graduate of CAAHAP accredited ultrasound program is strongly preferred Salary Range: $55.94 – $73.81 HourlySenior Sonographer:
Minimum of four years of prior experience within the hospital / acute care setting (Advancement into Senior Sonographer job classification will be assessed after 6 months with UCLA Health) Must maintain Active RDMS certification in three specialties: Abdomen, OB-GYN and RVT Proficient in Abdomen, OB/Gyn, Pediatric and Vascular Sonography. Additionally, proficiency in interventional procedures Graduate of CAAHAP accredited ultrasound school is strongly preferred Salary Range: $62.43 – $76.23Salary Range: $55.94 – $76.23 Hourly
