Communicates pertinent information to the appropriate healthcare professional Achieves quality diagnostic images through correct patient positioning and use of technical factors according to protocol Communicates with and educates patient regarding pertinent information during all aspects of exam Recognizes structures visualized and understands their significance. Accurately produces and records measurements according to protocols Accurately conveys initial findings and clinical data to radiologists Participates in creating a culture of patient safet and demonstrates knowledge of emergency preparedness for facility Ensures patient data integrity Accurately completes computer functions, edits, scheduling, billing, and status changes in a timely fashion. Performs accurate image identification, record preparation, and digital image manipulation and archiving. Assembles similar relevant exams and reports. Documents initial and ongoing data, interventions, responses/results, or interventions consistent with established policies/procedures/guidelines. Participates as an active team member Orients and mentors’ new employees and students Participates in department/facility process/quality improvement initiatives Assumes responsibility for personal and professional development to ensure current knowledge required for position Cleans and maintains rooms and supplies Correctly operates equipment according to accepted standards and guidelines and according to manufacturers’ Information for Use Identifies and responds to equipment problems to ensure equipment is in working order according to Department guidelines Acquires technical proficiency as new technology is introduced into the facility.
