Under the general supervision of the Cardiovascular Services manager and direct supervision of the Cardiovascular Supervisor, perform ultrasound procedures to assist the physician in the diagnosis and treatment of illness and disease. The technologists also perform any job-related functions (clerical, transportation, training and cleaning), as needed to provide optimal care.

Required Qualifications:

Coursework/Training and Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program. Upon hire: National Certification from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography  Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association

Preferred Qualifications:

Coursework/Training and Graduation from a CAAHEP approved or CMA approved ultrasound/vascular training program. Training in Transcranial Doppler and Renal and Mesenteric artery duplex scanning. Upon hire: RVT certification 2 years of Ultrasound scanning in an acute care hospital. Experience with Transcranial Doppler and Renal and Mesenteric artery duplex scanning.
