Schedule: Varies, PRN as needed. The PRN Technologist is required to assist with coverage of fellow staff members with vacation, illness, holiday coverage, etc.
Requirements:
Graduated from an accredited program or college/university, required.ARRT Vascular Sonography Certification, required.ARDMS Certification, preferred.Current BLS (Basic Life Support) Minimum (one) 1 year experience, required for PRN positions.Responsibilities:
Performs ultrasound examinations for subsequent evaluation and treatment by attending Physician.Performs a variety of technical procedures requiring independent judgment, ingenuity and initiative in applying ultrasound techniques for radiologic diagnosisPerforms vascular procedures requiring independent judgment, ingenuity and initiative in applying ultrasound techniques for imaging diagnosis.Ensures that all procedures have been appropriately ordered with satisfactory patient identification obtained prior to conducting procedure.About Gadsden Regional Medical Center
