Make a Difference

The Ultrasound Technologist performs diagnostic ultrasound exams according to physician orders. Their responsibilities include preparing, administering, and documenting procedures in compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and institutional policies.

The tentative onboarding timeline is February/early-March with a tentative department opening in mid-April.

Exceptional Skills 

Deliver optimal patient care, remaining sensitive to patient needs through assessment and monitoring. Accurately receive, relay, and document all verbal, written, and electronic orders in the patients' medical records. Ensure exam information is correct, complete, and recorded, including supplies and any deviations from standard procedures. Demonstrate proficient use and knowledge of department equipment, positioning devices, patient care items, and monitoring devices. Provide an exceptional patient experience through effective patient care skills. Knowledge of abdominal, obstetrics and genecology, and vascular exams.

Qualifications

Education: Associate degree in Radiology, or completion of a certification program in Radiography or Ultrasound (required).

Required Certifications/Licensures:

Current ARDMS Registered Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) credentialing must be obtained within one year of employment
