The Undergraduate Academic Advisor in Economics (EC) works alongside internationally renowned faculty and a diverse undergraduate student body to support economics education at Boston University. This position is one of three staff advisors, who together, with assistance from faculty consultants, serve as academic advisors for all Economics majors and minors as well as students in other disciplines interested in EC courses and programs. In collaboration with the CAS Academic Advising Center, EC Advisors help students navigate the University and College degree requirements while working with them to develop a plan to realize their academic, career, and life goals. EC Advisors also coordinate and lead programs alongside the CAS Office of Student Programs & Leadership, as well as participate in first-year experience programming that includes teaching first-year seminars and other departmental activities related to our undergraduate program.
