 The Undergraduate Academic Advisor in Political Science (PO) and History (HI) will advise a caseload of majors and serve as a resource for all PO and HI majors, minors and students seeking information about PO and HI courses and programs. In cooperation with the CAS Academic Advising Center, the PO/HI Advisor will help students navigate the University's General Education program (BU Hub) while working with them to develop a plan to realize their academic, career, and life goals. The PO/HI Advisor will also participate in First Year Experience programming including teaching first year seminars and planning and leading programs in collaboration with CAS Office of Student Programs & Leadership. The position will include administrative responsibilities related to course enrollments, scheduling, and commencement.
