The Office of Undergraduate Research is open Monday – Friday 9am – 4:30pmNo weekend hours Job Summary The Office of Undergraduate Research seeks a Student Marketing and Communications Assistant for the 2024-2025 academic year. Duties of this position include, but not limited to:1. Assist with communication efforts through campus outreach, graphic design, social media scheduling, website updates, and digital marketing strategies2. Curate content – develop written and visual communications for print, web and social media3. Interview students, faculty and alumni4. Create informational videos and photography5. Assist with event management and execution including: event marketing, setup, check-in of attendees, facilitation, cleanup and other duties as assigned6. Assist with general office support and customer service Skills / Knowledge / Abilities 1. Possess excellent customer service skills as well as a professional and willing attitude.2. Must be reliable and be able to professionally interact with stakeholders including students, faculty, staff, and alumni3. Organized, creative, detail-oriented, and able to multi-task4. MS Office and Google Drive experience5. Video editing and photography experience
