Job Summary:

Personal Lines and/or Commercial Lines Underwriter.

Responsibilities:

Handle risk selection and pricing -

- NEW LINES - determine acceptability of risks by reviewing, evaluating and rating submissions.

- RENEWAL- determine renewal actions by analyzing claim reports and pre-underwriting reviews.

Evaluate loss Control Reports. Recommend corrective actions and monitor progress.

Complete underwriting file documentation by adhering to established underwriting standards.

Build and Maintain producer relationships - training producer our company's procedures, product knowledge, and underwriting guidelines. Resolve producer's problems/concerns; Portfolio management - monitor producer's production and loss ratios.

Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.

Requirements:
• Self-motivating personality
• Computer proficiency w/ Microsoft Word and EXCEL
• Strong communication skills
• Well-organized and detail oriented
• Work well under pressure and time constraints
• Preferred: Fluent English and Cantonese
• Preferred: 1-3 years PC insurance experiences
