Overview:

Tokio Marine HCC – D&O, a member of the Tokio Marine group of companies, provides specialized insurance products. The Underwriting position is in our Jersey City, NJ office where you will have the opportunity to work on FI and/or public commercial accounts for TMHCC - D&O Group. 

Key Responsibilities:

Follow underwriting guidelines to submit financial review along with exposure, loss and coverage analysis for new and renewal businessUnderstanding policy forms and has the ability to discuss language with brokers and clientsCultivate and maintain broker relations while having the ability to negotiate effectively and verbalize our underwriting decisionsRepresent Tokio Marine HCC at underwriting meetings and manage client relationshipsIdentify and pursue new business opportunities while maintaining profitability.study financial, regional/national economic trends and industry conditions in the assigned underwriting discipline

The successful candidate will be an integral part of the team, contributing to the continued profitable growth of the unit.

Skills and Experience Specification:

A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related fieldPrevious work experience in the relevant areas of Management Liability
