Underwriting Analyst Job ID 206824 Posted 21-Feb-2025 Service line Advisory Segment Role type Full-time Areas of Interest Sales Support Location(s) Irvine - California - United States of America As a CBRE Underwriting Analyst you will perform various analyses including property level, market and Borrower credit to prepare prescreen packages and loan narratives for presentation to prescreen committee and/or loan committee. Other related tasks include coordination of due diligence materials for underwriting and delivery purposes. Oversight required; a working knowledge of Fannie Mae requirements is desirable but not required. **What you’ll do:** + Process incoming exhibits and other documentation required for loan approval. + Review of field underwriting submissions in preparation for loan committee and submission of materials to Fannie Mae. This includes analysis of Property financials, Value, and physical real estate, understanding the proposed Borrower ownership structure, review of Market data, and assessment of potential credit risks for the proposed loan. + Preparation of investment memos for presentation to loan committee. + Consistent interaction with Fannie Mae to obtain loan approvals and pricing. + Providing loan approvals and pricing to various CBRE Debt & Structured Finance Production teams. **What You’ll need:** + 0 - 3 years multi-family underwriting or closely related experience evaluating commercial property performance, valuation, and risk assessment. + Candidates must possess a strong work ethic, excellent written communication and analytical skills, + must be detail-oriented and possess the ability to work effectively with other team members and Production personnel in a fast-paced environment. + Some travel may be required from time to time. + Must be proficient in MS-Excel, Word and Office. + The ideal candidate will have a BS in finance, accounting, economics, real estate or other related subjects. CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the this position is $60,000 annually and the maximum salary for this position is $70,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
