Job Summary:
Underwriting assistant for the Work Comp service team. Communication with agents and carriers to successfully provide quality service to our agents. The Underwriting Assistant supports the underwriting staff by carrying out various support tasks. Prior insurance experience preferred, but NOT required.
Responsibilities include:
Issuance of endorsements and renewals.In-bound and outbound calls with retail agents and carriers.Response to submissions, e-mails, messages within a timely manner.Manage and coordinate the filing of documentation as it relates to policies.Skills required:
Must be proficient with Microsoft Office.Have strong communication and computer skills.Must be highly organized, detailed oriented, and have excellent time management skills.Must have strong teamwork skills.LI-NK#1
