Unemployment Claims Analyst (US Remote)

We are looking for a UI Claims Analyst to partner with our clients in managing the unemployment claims process and guide communication between the employer and the state agencies. You'll help shape a new business at Experian and help to lead market reach of our products in this space. This role is remote-friendly! You will report to the Claims Manager. What you'll do: + Coordinate with clients to gather all relevant information necessary to respond to an unemployment claim + Prepare and submit a comprehensive response to the unemployment claim that provides the best chance of a successful outcome + Field, assess, and respond to requests for additional information from state agencies + Develop partnerships with client contacts and use those relationships to coach on what additional steps or processes they might use to have more successful outcomes in the future + Analyze unfavorable determinations and advise clients on likelihood of success on appeal + File appeals to determinations with state agencies to request hearings be scheduled You will be: + Collaborative – partner with fellow team members, and peers; connect ideas across internal and external opportunities + Creative and Curious – challenge traditional approaches, inquisitive with a fondness for looking for new opportunities + Determined and Disciplined – optimistic about what can be; persistent, seeks high levels of activity; demonstrate a fierce commitment to challenging the status quo What your background looks like: + Experience in unemployment claims management industry + Must be able to handle multiple tasks, and prioritize multiple work items + Must remain flexible within a very demanding, constantly changing environment + Must be a self-starter and able to work autonomously Perks: + All Claims Analysts for Experian Employer Services are working remotely + Great compensation package plus annual performance bonus + 401K with a 4% company match with immediate vesting. + Comprehensive health, dental, and vision plans. + 5 sick days each calendar year. + 12 paid company holidays and 2 paid volunteer days. + Wellness plans, online discounts, employee discounts, pet insurance, employee stock purchase programs, and more.
