**This Opportunity** WSP is initiating a search for a On- Call UXO Technician II for various munitions response actions and range clearance activities. This person will report out of our San Diego, CA office. **Your Impact** • Performs reconnaissance and classification of UXO. Identifies U.S. and foreign-guided missiles, bombs and bomb fuzes, projectiles and projectile fuzes, grenades and grenades fuzes, rockets and rocket fuzes, land mines and associated components, pyrotechnics, military explosives, and demolition materials. • Locates subsurface UXO using magnetometers. • Performs excavation procedures on buried UXO by manual means and/or mechanical means. • Locates surface UXO using visual means. • Prepares an on-site safe holding area for UXO. • Performs storage of UXO and demolition materials. • Prepares a UXO disposal site. • Prepares non-electric firing systems for UXO disposal operations, electric firing systems for UXO disposal operations, and detonating cord firing systems. • Disposes of UXO and explosives by burning or detonation. **Who You Are** **Required Qualifications** • Meet the criteria for and perform the functions of a UXO-TII as defined in DoD Explosive Safety Board Technical Paper 18. • 5+ years EOD/UXO experience and significant experience in all aspects of munitions response actions or range clearance activities, as appropriate for the contracted operation • 40-Hour HAZWOPER Training and current annual refresher • Experience in managing an Explosive Safety Program; recognition of munitions and MEC, particularly UXO; and the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). **Compensation** Expected Salary: $29.52/hr- 41.00/hr WSP USA is providing the compensation range that the company in good faith believes it might pay and offer for this position, based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities in addition to internal equity and specific geographic location.
