This dynamic role requires deep technical expertise in chiller operations, excellent problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to work independently or as part of a team. **What you’ll do** + Operate, maintain, and repair large chiller systems (600 tons and above) in the field to ensure standards. + Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on mobile chiller units to minimize downtime and extend system lifespan. + Evaluate and diagnose mechanical and electrical malfunctions; implement effective repair strategies promptly. + Monitor system performance and make adjustments as needed using control software and diagnostic tools. + Ensure compliance with safety laws, industry standards, and company policies at each job site. + Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and service reports for all chiller systems serviced. + Participate in after-hours on-call support and emergency response as required. **What you’ll need** + High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in engineering, HVAC technology, or a related field is preferred. + Valid journeyman certification or equivalent experience in a similar mobile engineering role. + Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience working with large chiller systems (600 tons or more). + Universal EPA Required + Strong understanding of HVAC principles, chiller mechanics, and control systems. + Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and electrical systems on-site. **Why CBRE?** + CBRE prides itself on its RISE values of Respect, integrity, Service and Excellence! + CBRE is the global leader in commercial real estate services and investment! **Disclaimers** + Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future. + Should any element of this Job Description conflict with the provisions of an applicable collective bargaining agreement, the terms and conditions of the collective bargaining agreement will prevail. + The pay range for this position is subject to an applicable Collective Bargaining Agreement.
